Gymnastics & Trampolining Awards

Trampoline Award One shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 6 of the listed skills including those marked with a * must be completed to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner. Skills listed in Award 1:

• Waiting turn and good behaviour around the trampoline
• Mount and dismount to and from a central trampoline
• Can move or be moved freely around the trampoline

  From the centre of the trampoline, initiating deliberate and controlled movement, show at least 3 of the following:

• Sitting and bouncing/rocking
• Standing and bouncing/rocking
• Lying on back and being bounced
• Hand and knees bouncing/rocking

Trampoline Award Twelve shows a range of 12 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 10 of the listed skills,  plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

Trampoline Award Two shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 6 of the listed skills including those marked with a * must be completed to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner. Skills listed in Award 2:

• From seat position using arm movements, bounce
• Hands and knees bouncing
• *Bounce a set number of times and stop
• Roll in the horizontal position (in control)
• 1/4 turn in an upright position
• Seat drop, not returning to feet
• Show the star position

Trampoline Award Three shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 6 of the listed skills including those marked with a * must be completed to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner. Skills listed in Award 3:

• Straight jumping with arm movement
• Pike Jump
• Astride jump
• 1/2 twist jump
• Star jump
• Back bouncing (with assistance)
• In a set number of bounces/jumps show at least 2 skills

Trampoline Award Six shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 6 of the listed skills including those marked with a * must be completed plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

Trampoline Award Seven shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 6 of the listed skills including those marked with a * must be completed plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

Trampoline Award Eight shows a range of 7 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 10 of the listed skills, plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

Trampoline Award Gold shows a range of 15 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 10 of the listed skills,  plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

Trampoline Award Silver shows a range of 14 optional Skills to be demonstrated by the gymnast to the examiner/Qualified Personnel, 10 of the listed skills,  plus completion of a routine to the Specifications as trained by the qualified coach/Examiner.

The personal check-off card is for each student to be given individually, this way they can collect the details of their accomplishments and achievements. This Check off card can be collected after class or taken home by the student dependant on the teacher's preferences. The card is an easy way for you and the student to keep track of their progress and help them determine what skills they need to work on to complete the Awards.
